Philip Plyming is priest and theologian who has served as Dean of Durham since 2023. Educated at Robinson College, Cambridge, and Durham University, with a PhD from the University of Edinburgh, he previously spent sixteen years in parish ministry before becoming Warden of Cranmer Hall, Durham (2017–2023) where he taught New Testament and Christian leadership.
