Janet Wootton served as a Congregational Minister in rural and city churches, before becoming Director of Studies for the Congregational Federation, UK. She is immediate past President of the Hymn Society of Great Britain and Ireland, a hymnwriter and author, former editor of Worship Live. She has been a lifelong activist in issues of justice and equality.
