Two fabulous author events in two stunning locations!

We have two wonderful authors talking about their books in the coming weeks, one at Sarum College Bookshop in Salisbury, and the other at a Sunday Times award-winning pub in County Durham (which happens to be the historical setting for the author's novel!).

Whatever happened to the Arab Spring?

Friday 6th March 2015 at Sarum College Bookshop, 19 The Close, Salisbury, SP1 2EE

Not long ago there was the dawn of a vision of peace and justice in the Middle East. Just a few years later that vision seems to have vanished and instead there has been a renewal of new threats of violence between certain Middle Eastern peoples, especially against Middle Eastern Christians.

Professor Mary Grey will be in Sarum College Bookshop to launch the third book in her trilogy on peace in the Middle East, The Spirit of Peace. She will be addressing the question ‘Where is the Holy Spirit in the collapse of the Arab Spring?’

5.30pm. Free and open to all. Refreshments provided. RSVP to bookshop@sarum.ac.uk or phone 01722 326899. There will be time afterwards to attend Neil MacGregor's free Magna Carta talk at Salisbury Cathedral.
